Professional Career

Dr Arnis Lidums has dedicated over 30 years developing one of Australia’s leading Private Dental Specialist practices. Dr Lidums has been in dental practice 35 years (3 years solely in general dentistry, 32 years exclusively in Prosthodontics – fixed and full mouth rehabilitation) including several years practicing in Melbourne and London and as a Specialist consultant to the RAAF.

He has a wealth of experience and training in the art, science and technology of advanced dental care. He combines a personalised patient-focused approach with innovation to produce very satisfying results.

Dr Lidums enjoys being at the forefront of dental science and art and has committed to ongoing professional development since completing his specialist training. Receiving further training from some of the world’s dental pioneers has ensured that Lidums Dental is regarded as one of Australia’s leading-edge practices.

Dr. Arnis Lidums is a Fellow of the Australasian Section of the International College of Dentists.

Dr Lidums is active in the dental community at executive level and is a Past-President of the Australian Dental Association (SA Branch), Australian Prosthodontic Society (Federal and SA Branch) and Australian Osseo-integration Society. He is a past-clinical editor of the ADASA Newsletter. As a recognised industry-leader, he has been called upon to give hundreds of media interviews on dentistry.

Teaching

Dr Lidums is regularly invited to lecture and deliver workshops nationally and internationally on comprehensive treatment of the most challenging cases, the latest developments in comprehensive care, aesthetics and dental implants.

Family

Dr Lidums is married and enjoys spending leisure time with his wife, Lydia and two adult sons, Oskars, Hugo and young daughters Inga and Zaiga. they all enjoy outdoor activities including cycling, skiing (snow and water) and camping.
