Lydia Lidums

Career History

I gained my Certificate III & IV in Dental Assisting in 1988/89. I have seen many changes in the dental industry and can share many interesting stories of how things have changed. I worked overseas, in Wales, as a Dental Practice Manager. I started working for Arnis back when he was practicing on North Terrace in 1997 as a part time dental assistant. Since then, I have seen much growth. We have developed a great Team and created a beautiful space to work in. I really do love coming to work and looking after our patients and Team. I feel like my role is to assist those around me reach their potential. Whether its helping a patient regain their confidence with a new smile or coaching a team member in a particular aspect of communication or clinical skills, I love seeing their growth as individuals. It gives me a lot of joy. It has been a wonderful journey with Arnis, developing the Team and the practice to a standard we can be proud of.

Hobbies and Interests

My first passion is horse riding, but I also love the beach, hiking in the hills, camping and snow and water skiing. For fitness, I’m outdoors with our pet miniature schnauzer, Pele. I absolutely love listening to all kinds of podcasts and reading personal growth books. If ever you see with with ear buds in, I’m usually listening to someone inspiring. For me it’s important that I stay am always learning and getting inspiration and education from outside of myself so I can look after our family as well as our ‘work family’.

Ghisela Trillos

Career History

I have been working as a Dental Assistant in Australia for over five years.
My passion for dentistry was inspired by my grandfather, who introduced me to the profession and demonstrated the importance of commitment, care, and genuine connection with patients. From a young age, watching the way he treated his patients shaped my values and led me to pursue a career in dentistry.

I joined Lidums Dental in April 2024, motivated by the opportunity to work within a dedicated team that upholds high clinical standards and a strong service ethos. I am enthusiastic about contributing to the smooth operation and continued growth of the clinic.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy watching movies, reading books, going for walks, and spending time outdoors. I also love drinking coffee and cooking a variety of different foods, which allows me to relax and express my creativity.

Jhonathan Lasso

Career History

I have an overseas dental background and have worked in the dental industry for over eight years. My interest in dentistry was influenced by my family and a strong desire to help people improve their quality of life. I find it especially rewarding to see the positive changes in patients when their dental health and smiles are transformed.

I joined Lidums Dental in April 2024, drawn by the opportunity to work in a specialist practice that has a focus on implant dentistry. In my role as a Dental Technician, I particularly enjoy working with intra oral scanning and 3D printing technologies, combining technical precision with innovation to support high-quality clinical outcomes.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy playing and watching football, video games, and have a strong interest in science in general. I also enjoy cars and food, and values spending time exploring my interests beyond the laboratory.

Peppa Tuohy

Career History

I’ve been part of the Lidums Dental team for three years. Coming from outside the dental industry, it was a big learning curve, but one I’ve really enjoyed. I’ve learned so much along the way and love working with our friendly patients every day.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with friends, exploring great restaurants, and enjoying a good glass of wine. I’m also a proud parent of two grown children, a hairdresser and a psychologist.

Mariebeth Banguis Dela Cruz

Career History

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and bring a strong analytical and administrative background to my role as Admin Manager at Lidums Dental. My interest in chemistry was shaped by my academic performance and passion for science, providing me with a solid foundation in problem-solving and structured thinking that continues to support my professional work.

I have over six years of experience working in a dental facility in Dubai, UAE, where I began my career at the front desk handling reception and billing. Over time, my responsibilities expanded to include insurance claims processing and comprehensive dental administration, and I later took on a dedicated dental administrative support role.

I joined Lidums Dental in October 2025, as my skills and professional experience closely aligned with the needs of the practice, supporting the clinic’s day-to-day operations with accuracy and reliability.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy travelling, with a preference for nearby trips since becoming a parent. I value spending quality time with my family and am especially committed to supporting my nine-year-old son with his learning and development, helping him build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
