Career History
I was first introduced to Oral Health Therapy by a graduate who had completed the Bachelor Of Health course. After having done some previous studies in science, I decided to combine my love of applied science with a desire to work with people to improve their health. I found I enjoyed not only the practical knowledge from my degree, but also the journey of looking after patients early on in my studies. A big part of my training involved a country placement in Whyalla. I also volunteered with the Royal Flying Doctors Service and was able to care for patients in a remote rural area.
I find it energising to engage with my patients, and my role here at Lidums Dental as an Oral Health Therapist allows me to put my knowledge and practical clinical skills to good use.
